Debbie Carfagno has spent a lifetime in the Visual Arts. After earning a BFA from theSchool of Visual Arts in New York City, she became a master seriographer, creating prints for numerous artists, most notable Andy Warhol from1975-1983.
In the 1980's, Carfagno founded Now Voyager Gallery in Bucks
County, Pennsylvania exhibiting both local and New York artists.
Since moving to Miami in 1994, she has been developing my own artistic
vision as well as establishing success as a private dealer, specializing in
Blue Chip Pop Art.
The fabrication process of her work includes converting hand drawings
to cut aluminum, which are then painted in oil. Carfagno seeks to
create a highly dimensional effect by reducing images to their essence. This work lies between painting a sculpture, balancing abstraction and realism.
